There is a lot of work done on herb Arjuna (Terminalia arjuna). It is cardio protective. It has been shown to have ionotropic activity, It helps in improvin LVEF in cardiomyopthies, and useful stable anginas and cardiac failure. A study of this herb is contemplated on on cardiomyocytes cultures treated with Doxy rubicin. Arjuna has in it baicalein and other flavonoids, which are powerful anto oxidants. I may be able to provide results our study in about 3-4 months time.
